I wasn't really a fan of him in college, but he's proved he's a legit rotation guy. I think he would be great to bring in as a reserve wing. Both he and Dahntay Jones are tough guys, and I think, ideally, that is the sort of player we should bring in.

He would be an interesting player to bring in. He's not young, so that is going against him with Bird and the plan, but I guess it's always a possibility.

Doesn't he have some off-court troubles too? If so, might as well close this thread now. lol

I don't remember him having any recently. He may have had problems off the court in the past, but then again so did A.J. Price.

Someone brought Barnes up before and I'll say the same thing I said back then...
NO THANK YOU!
Barnes is a dirty player, and has a terrible attitude. He doesn't need to be anywhere near our roster.

I don't know if you and I are watching the same Matt Barnes man. He did used to have a bad attitude but he hasn't had that in the last few years.
I think he would fit very well in Indiana. He would bring strong shoot, perimeter defense, and some veteran leadership to go along with all of our young guys. I think that Dahntay Jones should still be our number one option, but I'm just saying at least taking a look at Barnes definitely would be a good idea.
