indiana gives: marquis and travis denier
gets back: tony allen, bill walker and ryan hollins and bost 2cd rounder

dallas gives: ryan hollins
gets back: gabe pruitt

boston gives: bill walker, tony allen, gabe pruitt, 2cd rounder
gets back: marquis and denier

im not sure whether indiana wants ryan hollins still after signing solomon, but it adds somewhat adds value in getting back walker and hollins two decent young players, maybe it opens up a trade of one of your big guys like foster or murphy, in which tony allen could be used as a filler/expiring contract in a deal with one of them

just an idea

why not though? im not disagreeing with you because i think it would be hard to get someone to take back tony regardless, but what do you think is the problem with it?

I don't think we're going to move Diener. No one wants to take Allen's contract. Dallas has more of a need for a young big (Hollins), than they do for a young PG (Pruitt).

dont you have kind of a log jam at the point though?

yea im thinking at this point that the only way a s&t happens if its for like bill walker and jr giddens since they are the two most promissing players we have, but that gives you a ton of wings

but at this point i would bet more that marquis signs for the 1.9 rather than the s&t happenning

No, our point situation is solid, but to assume that Price will be a major fasset in that regard isn't wise.

Let's not forget that TJ hasn't had the greatest health track record. So I believe Diener would be more important than the depth chart would let us believe.

Dallas would most likely re-sign Hollins. They're gonna need his energy in the postseason against the revamped Spurs.

I'd do a Daniels for Walker straight up if it'll work cap-wise.

Sporting News is reporting that Boston wants to do sign and trade but Pacers don't like what they are offering. that makes sense particularly considering the length of time this has taken. if Walker straight up appealed to the Pacers, the deal probably would have been done by now. I think some kind of three way will have to be worked out if it is to happen at all and I don't think Hollins is the answer. I think he fell off our shopping list when we signed Jones. we need a 3 to complete the roster and neither Hollins nor Walker fits that bill.

How about Damien Wilkins, who was just traded to MIN?

T-Wolves already have Q.Richardson, R.Gomes, and C.Brewer at small forward. They also have the Bird's right to sign with free agent, Rodney Carney. Maybe they have more interest on Tony Allen.

Say, Daniels to BOS; TA to MIN; Wilkins to IND?

I wouldn't mind Wilkins. He can score when called upon, but I honestly don't know much more about him other than he's Gerald Wilkins' son.

I'd like to move Diener.

It's not Allen's contract, it's his off-court troubles that make him difficult to move.

I'm not gonna be heartbroken if we deal Diener. I just don't think we're going to give AJ Price that 3rd PG spot.

By contract I meant him in general. Should've worded that better.

I don't see a 3 team deal getting done without someone overpaying, it won't be us.

Read somewhere that the Nets might be interested in getting in if they can work out a sign-and-trade with Big Baby. Don't know who the Nets have that we want tho. Would anyone be interested in Yi?

At least we would gain a few fans in China

I'm not sure that will will get someone else in to make it a three-way trade. I kinda like the idea of getting Damien Wilkins and I also like the idea of getting rid of diener. I think we can since we just signed Earl Watson. I'm sad to say that it probably wont happen and Boston will just sign him. :( ..........Cross your fingers for a blockbuster!!!! :D

Damien Wilkins would be relatively fine, especially as a half to 3/4 season fill in for Mike Dunleavy.

Brining Yi in Indiana would be a rewind of his stint with Milwaukee.
The Chinese people will do anything to get Yi in a big city with high Chinese population like LA, NY, Chicago, just to name a few.

We need defense and toughness. In my opinion Yi is neither of those.
No thanks
