Even though I agree with you about taking LBJ I think Andrew was picking Artest first because of the value you get at such a crazy low price of Artest's contract. In a game like this with limited salary cap I'm sure that very much so came into play.

I agree with PaceWalker. He chose a very good player at a very good price. While Artest isn't the best player he's very good and it allows him to pick better players later on.
