Game threads have been a Pacers board mainstay for a long time. You sign up for one, all you have to do is make the thread. Then there are extra-curriculars. Just get creative, but it would be nice to have pictures of girls, and Conan O'Brien (the former is far more preferrable, but I'd like to see some Conan O'Brien because of Jim O'Brien).

They must be contained to the OP of the gamethreads only. Occasionally, one will leak, and we can still do the Tradition draft, but we should primarily limit them to the game threads.

They should not contain simulated sex, either with partners or implements. Obviously all of these pictures imply sex in one degree or another, but it should be relatively straightforward to differentiate between seductive and brazen. Regrettably, we'll have to use the Potter Stewart "don't know how to define it, but know it when I see it" standard.

Regarding nudity, we should really avoid photoshopping nude pictures to cover up the strategic bits. It's ok if there's some cheek, but that should be about it. Hand bras (as long as it's their own) are OK, but, again, we should be aware of the pose.

When selecting pics, we should think SI Swimsuit, Maxim, FHM (minus the page 3 girls), etc. Not Playboy, Penthouse, etc.

We need to remember that this is a PG-13 site with some underage posters. I like the Tradition pics as much, if not more, than most. However, we'll be much better off policing ourselves than having someone else do it. I know a couple of other boards have banned the use of "Tradition" type pics, and I definitely don't want it to come to that.

So, then, sign up, the earlier the better, but if you can't make the thread in time, just post in this thread that you can't do it and hopefully someone will cover.

And remember, it's cool to get creative, but in the end it's all about having good discussion about the Pacers.

I'll take a few now just to get things started.

If one of the tradition stalwarts (count?) would like to grab a couple of the early ones to show us the ropes, it would be great.

I should be able to do 10-15 this year. I am going to wait until I see what my schedule is like with school, work, etc before I commit to any games. It seems like last year towards the middle and end of the season a lot of games were forgotten about and there were lame threads. We may not have the best team, but we do have the best tradition, eh?

I'll keep it clear for now, but if no one signs up for it within 48 hours of the game, it's yours, and I'll send you a PM reminder.

Otherwise, state in advance when you want the date. That way we can keep it flexible, but you get first dibs.

Tuesday, the 3rd i'd gladly take vs. Denver. If nobody takes opener, i will.

Works for me. I just want a full schedule this year, hopefully we can get more guys involved.

For November I can do: all the Wednesdays (the 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th). Also the 30th of November, which is a Monday. And for December I can do the 2nd.

To make it easier:
November 4th
November 11th
November 18th
November 25th
November 30th
December 2nd

That is as far as I know. And I still like side boob.

Hey, I forgot November 25th was the day before Thanksgiving... I think I may need to be taken off for that day, thanks.
