The Nets' offense is looking more fluent in the third. Lead is down to 5, hopefully we can start taking better shots.

Nice rhythm in the 4th, pulling away nicely now.

Good job for the Pacers Tyler and Hibbert put up good numbers and we get a win we should get. Even without Danny we should win this one.

I bet JOB is mad, he tried to give it away when he put Ford back in. Hibbert won't get much PT Saturday if JOB has it his way. He likes to screw things up.

I missed the game because rehearsal was called an hour before. Dammit. I wanted to see this win. I saw that Tyler and Hibbert were our leading scorers along with Murph and Dunleavy at 15. It may be the Nets, but we needed this win.

Ford still managed to get a -6 on the +/- scale. O'brien should have played Price more. Damn you O'brien.

We needed this win bad.

Earl Watson was +22. That's a lot of points.

Rush shot 5-11 with 10 points, which was nice, and he had a positive plus/minus as well as 8 boards.

Quiet night for Dahntay, although his plus/minus was nice. I think our defensive unit (Watson, Dahntay, Tyler, Foster) gives us our best chance. They are starting to consistently be the best in terms of plus/minus.

Extra note: 7 of Hibbert's 9 boards were offensive.

I was at the game. Watson was irrelevant, all he meant was that TJ wasn't on the floor taking the ball, and the other players could lead the break.

Great game. Really enjoyable to watch. Foster was pretty unhappy from foul calls, but Hibbert really was enjoying things, including the 3.

He was talking about it for awhile after he was on the bench too. :)

I wouldn't say irrelevant.

Watson doesn't stuff the stat line, but he runs the team pretty nicely and doesn't dominate the ball like TJ does. He is also a lot better on the defensive side.

He was irrelevant. He had a very small impact on the game.

The fact that he isn't T.J. Ford, isn't a skill. Diener would have provided the same sort of impact Watson did. Which was getting out of the way and letting the other 4 players actually play the game.

I'll watch the game again, this time not live, and see if it changes at all for me (my first Pacers game in awhile, I want to relive the action), but there wasn't nothing that made me say, Watson made that play.

I like TJ. I just don't like how he requires the ball. I wish he's turn into Mark Jackson, and just pass all game aside from Jump Shot, Jump Stops which he's great at in the mid range (ala, Jackson's runner)

I wouldn't mind if we replaced all our point guards next year though.

Watson can spread the floor better than TJ with his range, and his distribution is better, even if it doesn't show up on the stat sheet. He did get a great amount of assists against Washington, though.

Watson just has a calming presence about him that I think rubs off on the other players. With TJ, he's always so out of control that you never know what to expect from him. As a result, the movement suffers and TJ's +/- is a good indicator of how the team struggles to get into a rhythm with him on the floor.
