We haven't had a legit gamethread in a while and we've been playing like crap. Maybe the guys are down about the lack of a thread.... probably not. Anyway, let's hope our luck is a little different tonight

Thanks for making a gamethread, Dunthreevy. When I get solid internet connection for tradition collection, things are going to change. Gasol vs. Hibbert will be the matchup to watch. Anything else will probably be depressing.

Check out that picture of O'Brien again....

Does anyone think that O'Brien actually knows what all those plays, on the board behind him, mean? I think it's debatable to say the least.

I find it hard to believe that we're underdogs to a Grizzlies unit, but that's going to be the case here. They're playing some very solid ball, and well the less said about out form and injury status the better.

Hoping to see Hibbert continue to score, hopefully a little more consistently this time.

first i hope we lose every game that they play, second bird is dumb for keeping this guy as coach,as long as o'brien is the coach the pacer are going to be loser's you guys can say what you want it ain't going to make no different in what he dose, because all the players don't like him, because he is a loser

They're not plays, they're maps to the best burger joints near the stadiums of away games.

I'm rooting for Randolph to drop 90points and 30 rebounds. And the rest of the grizzles post donuts and the pacers win and I win my fantasy.

Luther Head needs more minutes. Every time I see him, he's lighting up the scoreboard.

Another loss for the Pacers, but at least some of our young guys like Hibbert and Rush played well.

Our bench continue to get better +/- than our starters, and today it wasn't even close. Our starters were severely in the negatives, while three or four bench guys had double-digit positives. Brandon Rush has done well off the bench, and Roy **** Hibbert played like an all-star against fellow soph Marc Gasol.

TJ had a depressing stat line, while Mike Conley posted respectable numbers in his hometown. Head was the only guy amongst the starters to post better than a -20 +/- with -3. Watson has pretty much won hi starting spot back. And the plus-minus argument that our bench is just playing against their bench is pretty moot, because combined the bench played 138 minutes to the starters' 102.

Jamaal Tinsley played and we still lost.

Earl Watson should tone down the threes. I know we're in the O'Brien era, but our percentages don't match well with our strategies.

Went to the game tonight. A few notes:

Head is a chucking machine. I'm not sure I remember him ever passing throughout the whole game. (He did; had one assist lol). Seemed like he hit his last 3-4 shots, otherwise he would have shot something like 6-15, which is 40% I guess.. Most of his shots (even the ones that went in) seemed like horrible shot selection.

Big reason why we lost was because we put Dahntay Jones and Brandon Rush on ZBo . Take out like 6-7 of ZBo's (Please Use More Appropriate Word) & ill advised shots that make no sense, and he would have shot like 80%. 5 offensive boards cause we had smaller guys that couldn't really box him out very well.

Mike Dunleavy is still hurt or is never going to get his normal self back. Terrible.

Big Roy is the man. Almost unstoppable at times.

TJ Ford didn't play enough to even notice. His +- is pretty ugly, although at the game I didn't really notice.

If Earl Watson could hit an open shot, he would be amazing.

McBob was showing off in warm ups... had a few nice dunks in the game. Didn't realize he had any hops at all. Loved the alley oop reverse dunk.

Looks like our team is too selfish to win many basketball games. It's dribble down the court, pass once, drive to the hoop, turnover, play crappy defense, rinse and repeat.

Forgot to add my Tinsley comments. He got booed pretty heavily when he first came in. Quite a few kept it up any time he touched the ball.

What's sad is that he looked a little more mature out there. Plenty of bad shots that he didn't take, that he normally would've.

And O'Brien is horrible. Roy is obviously our best player at the moment (w/ Danny out)... why bring him off the bench? By the time he came in, we were already down pretty big.

^^I wouldn't say it's that obvious, because he has yet to show consistency, but I wouldn't disagree with the assessment.
