Now that we are out of the playoffs and the trade dead line has come and gone the only thing us Pacers fans have is the NBA Draft. When is it June?
It's gonna be a long 4 months waiting to see who we get!
We do have all those short contracts so it might be a busy summer!

I'm hoping that AJ and Tyler get back soon so they can play and get some NBA experience, we need to treat the next 25 games or so a an extended training camp. It's a great way to look at guys and what they can do. We know TJ sucks so let him sit and Watson is decent back up player, so start and play AJ instead. We know what Murphy can do so lets see McBob and if he ever gets over the ear infection lets see Hansbrough.

The proposed trade with Charlotte which would have landed DJ Augustin and Gerald Henderson, definitely have given the fans some hope that maybe change is not far away. I once heard Doc Rivers talk in an interview, around deadline day, and he said most trades that happen, were in the works for on average 6 months. He said, fans just think teams pick up the call in the morning and do a trade by lunch but that’s false.
It would have been really nice for this trade to go through though, because it would give Indiana 2 young PG to look at (Augustin and Price), a solid SG in Henderson, hopefully a top 6 pick and they could still unload Troy Murphy this summer, possibly for a young player of need or a first round pick.
They could have really build a strong foundation and then try to land a semi-star in the summer of 2011.
