According to the latest Pacers Insider article...
http://blogs.indystar.com/pacersinsider ... h_and.htmlWhat is thought to be an inner ear infection that has caused him to be dizzy, etc. may have been misdiagnosed at Post Concussion Syndrome which would explain the headaches dizzyness and all that.

I don't even care anymore. I honestly am not even expecting him to be back with the team until sometime next season, if at all. I see a VERY short career for Hansbrough. We have one of the most inept medical staffs in the NBA, to go along with the pathetic product that we have to put up with on the court.

Yeah, I don't agree with this at all. I have inner ear problems as well and I can tell you they are no joke when it comes to balance and dizziness (if that is indeed the problem). But I'm sure Hansbrough will bounce back and have a very good career in the NBA.

What I'm referring to is Post Concussion Syndrome (not "inner ear problems"), and it has ended the careers of NFL players. Hansbrough plays basketball like he's on a football field. He STILL can't even practice by HIMSELF. What about all of these factors leads anyone to believe that he should have a long and productive career? If he turns out not to be a completely wasted lottery pick then I'll be as happy as a pig in ____, but things aren't looking too promising.

The type of injuries worry me a bit. Shin? Inner ear? These are not athlete injuries (knees, shoulders, ankles). Some people may look at that and think "well he's solid in the places that others are soft." It worries me though.
I think that it has a lot to do with the way he plays. He expended so much energy in every college game that there's no way he could play every day like that. Now he'll have to play every day like that if he's going to succeed. I still see him as Mark Madsen part 2. I was disappointed in the pick and I've continued to be disappointed this year.

Weird stuff guys. Goo luck from a Clippers fan. Tyler will be a very nice piece off the bench in the future.

Whatever it is, I hope they can figure it out. Tyler looks like he'll be a solid rotational player for us if he can get back on the court healthy.

Sorry to sound bitter and negative, but each time i even read "Hansbrough" on this forum, i get a sick feeling in my stomach. I still can't believe we made that mistake.
