Are we gonna do one this year? Because I'm ready to ride the Missouri Tigers' bandwagon as they prepare to shock the world.

It's our league.... i just didn't know if you guys wanted a exclusive RealGM league which i was unsure how many people would be interested or adding a few more..... for a lil better competition.

There won't be enough people for it to be a RealGM exclusive league, unfortunately. In fact, I don't think I'll be joining due to a busy schedule and complete lack of knowledge of most of the teams in the tourney.

Don't let a complete lack of knowledge stop you. I don't let it stop me. It's all in fun, and honestly, lack of knowledge is not much of a deterrent because so much of it is a crapshoot anyway. Most of these teams can beat most of the other teams on any given night. That's why my six-year-old son was able to win my office pool a few years back (true story).

I'm fine with anyone joining who wants in. It's more fun when it's people you know, but if our board is short on participants then open it up to others.

I filled mine out in under 5 minutes, if that makes you guys feel any better.

Gut instinct. Name, mascot, color, affiliation, conference....whatever. Just pick what you like. It's like horse racing.

I tried very hard to pick someone other than Kansas to win it, but...I just can't see anyone beating those azzwipes this year. You have no idea how much it pains me.

In general, not a good year for underdogs I don't think. I hope to be pleasantly mistaken, as the tournaments that are the most fun are the ones in which dark horses ride the farthest. But the only dark horses I'm riding very far this time are Richmond and Cornell. Also I'm taking Butler for a couple of rounds. I might have picked a few more, but the NCAA seemed to go out of its way this year to make it as difficult as possible for the good mid-major teams, most obviously Northern Iowa, who got totally screwed on its seed (should have been a six seed, maybe even a five) and stuck with a second-round game (if they get that far) with Kansas. Wow, that sucks. /rant

I'm 8 for 8 so far. Unfortunately, Georgetown is down 12 to number 14 Ohio. I've got Marquette and Northern Iowa in these current games.

Good thing I didn't do a bracket. Notre Dame keeps making me feel sad.
