Michael Strahan is staying retired.
That became official moments ago, when he leaked word to his good friend Jay Glazer, who - like Strahan - works for Fox Sports.
Strahan had been considering returning to the Giants for a 16th NFL season, and he had been talking to and texting several people in the organization for the last few days. He had at least one phone conversation with GM Jerry Reese, and it's also believed he was in contact with co-owner Steve Tisch. Reese had also reached out to Strahan's agent, Tony Agnone, to try and gauge whether Strahan was serious about a return.
