Giants vs Eagles.......lets hope we dont have a repeat of week 14.

Keys to game- Giants establishing the run early. Shut down Westbrook. Constant pressure on Mcnabb.
Trust but verify.

Brandon Jacobs getting 2 weeks of rest is definitely a plus.

Antonio Pierce cannot be on Westbrook, gotta be help with a secondary. They gotta establish the pass rush and pressure McNabb.

And our receivers cannot have the same performance they had vs the Eagles in week 14.

This loss just reminded me how badly Gilbride needs to go. Some of his play calls were down right pathetic.

We need a number1 WR and another linebacker and a new offensive coordinator.
Trust but verify.

Plaxico Burress was the reason why receivers got open, and he was a absolute Eagles killer.

Kevin Gilbride play calling was just horrible, the passing game was pretty bad this year and the only reason why they scored so much is because of the running game this year. Some of eli's throws today were not even a sharp spiral. When will coaches realize that sometimes you gotta go no-huddle with a Manning.

Gilbride doesn't need to go. He called a terrible game Sunday but the fact remains he was the OC for the top ranking rushing offense and the third ranked scoring offense (as well as seventh in TDs and total yards). He's done a good job this year, you shouldn't fire someone over one bad game.

I dont agree at all. He needs to go. We have dominant personnel on our line and at our rb position, that alone is conducive to a top 10 offensive ranking. Time and time again this man refiuses to recognize when teams are keying in on the run and not respecting our passing game. How many times could a no huddle have changed the games momentum? Plenty. Yet he is either ignorant or stubborn to the fact that he needs to alter his play calling to adjust to the defense he's facing.

Hell, Id almost rather see Fassel as offensive coordinator at this point. I doubt any team is dumb enough to hire Gilbride as a head coach even though he has interviewed so I guess we're stuck with him.

Im not that happy with Coughlin either, never was a big fan of him. I wish he'd retire so Spagnolo could take over.
Trust but verify.

Gilbride play calling was horrible and if it wasn't for the running game this season the Giants would never be where they were. Going shotgun on 1st and 5 near the red zone what was that?

I hope the giants realize that Kevin Gilbride is not the guy for the offensive coordinator, or maybe it's coughlin being stubborn and calling the shots. Any other way they should know to get a passing game going with a manning go no huddle, look at the game winning drive in Superbowl 42 and that playoff game vs the Cowboys when Eli drove down the field to score a TD with under a minute left in the 1st half.
