Kenny Britt was a top performer in the vertical leap, but he was a mid 4.40 at the 40. But to me the 40 yard dash is a little overrated. Devin Hester did not have the best 40 and we all know what he turned out to be.

Almost all the forty times were a little slower than expected this year, there's speculation that something was wrong with the electronic timers.

I'm thrilled so far with what we've done in FA, Boley was a great pickup at such a cheap price. Young LB with plenty of talent and room for growth, and this signing finally gives us an LB who can actually cover someone. I'm also thrilled with the Canty signing, even if we had to spend a little to get him.

And if James Laurinaitis can fall to us in the 1st rounnd. I don't how many watch wrestling but he is the son of Road Warrior Animal from LOD

kiwi will be a DE imo and a guy like robbins could bite the dust as how coughlin said canty will be a DT(most likely starting) and on 3rd downs he and tuck will flip flop positions.

a great offseason free agent wise and i'm pretty sure reese will have yet another great draft.

They might keep Big Fred because he's only making 2 million. If he's sent packing I bet he ends up in St. Louis.

42 mill(17.5 guaranteed) for 6 years ... sounds like a lot, it is ... but i trust in reese and in reese's eyes he sees canty excelling as a 4-3 DT than a 3-4 DE.

he'll also pass a lot of passes with his 6'7" size.

Majority of 3-4 D-Line players don't usually get the sacks and notice how it is usually the linebackers in a 3-4 that gets sacks. Canty will definitely start especially since he is getting paid the same amount as Osi. Fred Robbins is getting up there in age as he will be entering this year at 32, but some DTs can still perform at a high level in their 30's. Pat Williams and Warren Sapp but then again Fred Robbins is not at that level. It looks like Jerry Reese really found something in this year's draft with WR's.

Derrick Ward signs a 4yr deal with Tampa. I think its a bad move for Derrick Ward. After Tampa released all of its vets they are definitely in the rebuilding phase. They are probably the ones who gave him the most money, but I think he would have been a better fit in Denver. He won't average 5yards per rush but he should still get 4 yards per rush and a 1,000 yard season as a starter.

That's what Yuri Sucart injected into his cousin's tushy...

Nice moves for the defense. I'd like to see Reese maybe trade for a stud at WR now, or at least draft one in the first two rounds. We can try enticing Phoenix with one of our defensive linemen.

C.C. Brown will be the Kenny Phillips role last year, play both backup FS and SS. Kenny Phillips showed he is ready to be a starter last year and we are just gonna let James Butler walk, most likely he will go to St. Louis and reunite with Spags. The safeties will be Michael Johnson and Kenny Phillips.

Dang, Reese really has a hard on for the defense. How about a stud receiver, Jerry?

There are no stud recievers available to sign so easily, I am pretty sure Reese is looking towards the draft with the Talent there. Marvin Harrison, T.O. Bobby Engram all these recievers are old or has baggage.

And getting Anquan won't be easy.

i think this is how it's gonna go down ... if plax doesn't go to jail, he'll be back but if he does go to jail, braylon edwards will be a giant.

reese made an interesting comment yesterday saying how he may not have that many draft picks by the draft starts so unless i'm making something out of nothing, there could be a trade for a reciever if burress goes to jail.

Who did you want him to go after? There are a few former stud receivers out there but why go down that road?

SNY tonight reported the Giants are again inquiring about Boldin. The Cards are denying he's on the block though.

As a fallback option yeah. Id rather swing a trade for Edwards or Boldin- not in that order. But Holt/Hixon/Smith is a solid trio. Basically on par w/Pittsburghs wr's and I think our defense with the new signings will be better than theres if they stay healthy.

All I know is one way or the other we have to get another solid wr.
Trust but verify.
