Giants-Vikings headed to Monday Night

We hope the Giants packed some extra clothes for their trip to Minnesota.

After a day filled with travel delays because of a blizzard in Minneapolis, the Giants-Vikings game will be moved to Monday Night, the NFL has confirmed. Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger was the first to report the possibility Saturday night.

The Giants, stuck in Kansas City for the day, were planning to leave for the game at 8 am Sunday. As recently as 7 et, the league said the game may still go off on time. It’s possible that continued poor weather and other complications caused the NFL to re-consider that plan.

Nice, an extra day for Ahmad Bradshaw to practice not fumbling

17 inches of snow.

Airport shut down... no bus service. Crazy. Absolutely no way to drive anywhere. My car is under a snow drift.

Hopefully I can dig my way out before the Knicks game tomorrow. Ha.

All sports eyes in New York will be on the Knicks early this afternoon. It is raining and nasty outside so stay home and watch the Knicks. The Jets won't start until after 4:00pm so this works out well.

The football gods sure want Brett Favre to play this game. But don't worry Giants fans, just watch my Jets instead

Well since the roof has now fallen in, there may not be a Giants-Vikings game tomorrow either. Too much snow in Minnesota.

NOw I don't have to DVR the Giants and Jets and finish watching games at 11 tonight, all the while staying away from anything that might let me find out a score.

Anyone hear plans for the game. Minny coming to The Meadowlands maybe?

umm minny is a dome team, built to play in a dome. thats why they're playing inside, not because of the giants. because the vikes dont want to lose their home field advantage of playing indoors.
