Giants 2013 Opponnents

Post#1 » by I_Love_NYK » Mon Dec 31, 2012 9:46 pm

Home

Cowboys, Eagles, Redskins, Cheifs, Broncos, Packers, Seahawks, Vikings

Away

Cowboys, Eagles, Redskins, Raiders, Chargers, Panthers, Bears, Lions

Only 5 teams on the schedule who made the playoffs in 2012 compared to this years schedule where they played 7 teams who made the playoffs. I expect the Giants to make the proper moves and a lot of the 2007 SB 42 will be gone except Eli, Snee and Tynes.

I am going to say we improve by two games next year and win 11

Losses will be to Seattle, Denver and vikings at home. And redskins and Bears on road

But when you look at it there's a lot of winnable games on that schedule home and away. A breath of fresh air compared to the last two seasons nightmare schedules.

I can look at it and say they should even beat Vikings, Seattle and bears but who knows with all the changes what type of team they will put on the field. And most would already call me a HOMER for predicting 11 wins with such an uncertain future ahead. If I went ahead and said they would win even more they would say I need to be committed. Anyway we all know there are games we drop every season to teams we should beat...which accounts for at least a few extra losses

Lions, KC and Raiders our potential ones that jump out at me for games we should win by a good margin but find a way to lose

And every year there's surprise teams that stunk the year before that become front runners... So who knows at this point which teams will be which

The Giants had the hardest schedule in the league for 2012, 7 Opponents made the playoffs the year before and 9 had a record of .500 or better the year before.

Next year's schedule does look easier on paper, I can see the Giants spliting one vs Seattle and Green Bay at home. They have been playing well at home lately except vs Dallas and Pittsburgh. People can say I am just being a hater but I can't see RG3 being 100% by Week 1, and I don't think Vick in Chip Kelley's offense is the answer in Philadelphia. Dallas might be the same Dallas again
