When was the Giants defense this bad?

Anyone remember the last time the Giants defense was as bad as it is now? I will say now includes last season also. It just downright stinks.

The other areas have problems to, but the defense is particularly standing out horribly.

35-13 Packers this Sunday. HORRIBLE.

This defense is absolutely horrible. You look at last weeks game and have to think if the defense picked it up, they don't lose to the Cowboys. This week, man I just don't know what's up with them. This defense needs an overhaul or something. Were they this bad last season?

Since the day they signed Kawika Mitchell as a Outside Linebacker who is originally a Middle Linebacker. Bring Mathias Kiwanuka in as a Outside Linebacker who is a Defensive End. Wow if this keeps up when ever my tight ends play the giants in my fantasy I am starting them. Wow our secondary is horrible. It will be only a matter of time when the coaching staff will be fired including the GM. If we start 0-3 I am throwing in the towel.

If you are talking eras, factoring in last season, how far back do you have to go?

I would say pre-Carson era.
