OT: Harrison and Giant fans

Just read on Yahoo! that Harrison does not have a job right now. The Giants are also without a decent receiver, not even a good one, but a decent one.

Do you Giant fans out there think it'd be worth trying for him if he's cheap, or should we just try to develop the young guys and PRAY TO GOD that we make the playoffs?

uh, there is a reason why marvin harrison isn't signed

it's cause he's old and he can't get open anymore. he's pretty much useless now. it happens with old WRs. it's the same thing that happened to toomer.

he's a HOFer but he's completely done right now.

Yeah I know, but it doesn't mean he can't show the younger receivers how to become future HOFers. That's my point.

it's not that simple dude

if that was the case every team would bring in every other hall of famer to teach their players

you either have the talent or you don't

I really don't know about Harrison's value, but Coughlin and Reese look pretty focused on developing the twelve recent top draft picks currently playing WR. You would think with a Pro Bowl QB, the best O-lin in football, and 6 recent top draft picks at WR, SOMEBODY will step up and make plays. Either that or watch out for Bradshaw on that screen pass, baby.
