Giants will have to contain Haynesworth, and the recievers will have to get things going to open up the running game. I'm upset Hakeem Nicks is not a starter, Steve Smith and Domenik Hixon were not impressive during camp or preseason. Kenny Britt started against a good defense yesterday 4rec 85 yrds.

Good first game. I think Steve Smith can be a good 'possession', middle-of-the-field guy. We still need a reliable 'burner' to stretch things. I liked the defense, for the most part. But the true test will be when teams properly figure out they need to shut our running game down. Jacobs was held in check, for the most part. If teams adjust to Bradshaw, who's getting his first look from many teams, it could get tougher. Tough test this week in Dallas...

colombo pushed jacobs when the game was over and jacobs said that he better not see his face again ... jacobs then said to the media that he loved ruining the party

i don't know who's gonna haunt nyknicks2k2 in his dreams ... steve smith and him breaking some fugazy's ankles or super mario manningham.

Yeah, those were some dirty plays by the cowboys.....i didnt see the Jacobs one but that Tuck play sahould definetely merit a fine. Glad to hear Tuck is fine and i hope if worse comes to worse we can rest him for next week.

Super Mario and Steve were great I cant wait for Hicks to be in the mix.

I just dont like Hixon much.......

hixon has played himself out of the starting role.

I couldnt agree more, Hixon doesnt deserve to be anything more than a 3rd or 4th receiver at this point. Super Mario and Smith are proving to be a young talented duo. I wouldve liked to have seen some end zone corner fades with Barden using his height, but maybe that'll come soon.

3-0 here we come!!!!!!!

well i don't want to completely burry hixon ... he has great speed and can spread the field but it's manningham, smith, and nicks(when he's back)

hixon should be on punts/kicks because that's his bread and butter ... he's a free agent this offseason so it's not like he has a future with the giants.

Hixon is not a 1st string receiver nor is he a 2nd string. He is a poor route runner and bad hands, (That near int in the 1st was clearly due to a poor route by Hixon.) He is a slot receiver that is 3rd or 4th in the depth chart. He is good for kick-off and punt returns.

Great game! I still bite my nails every time Tynes tries one. The injuries on defense are going to hurt. Super Mario is indeed starting to emerge as a #1. I just hope teams don't ever fully adjust to him... but then Smith is there as the release valve. I'm really starting to warm to Bradshaw... I thought picking him over Ward was a slight mistake. I hope our secondary gets healthy, because Leftwich is still a gunslinger. And I still can't understand all the hullabaloo over Schlomo... he stinks when the chips are down. I think the rest of the world is now getting hip to that.

lets not forget about boley, he was as advertised ... a very fast hard hitting linebacker.

he was still rusty i assume but man he's quick ... sintim needs to get healthy asap, his pass rushing is needed and create mismatches.

Giants havn't had a good OLB since Kawika Mitchell, and that was not his regular position. Boley did look good though for a guy missed most of training camp.

he'll get it going, i mean he didn't really have that bad of a game compared to the previous 2 games.

he had 3.8 rush per carry i believe but would've been in the 4's if it was for someone missing a block 3 times which caused the safety to just tackle jacobs right after he got the ball.

who cares though, bradshaw is awesome and the giants are 3-0 heading into kansas city to face the 0-3 chiefs.
