i don't really know the salary cap situation for the g men, or if the niners would part with him, but there is no doubt he could be a great wide receiver.these trades don't really happen so i don't expect it to happen, but we need a number 1 wide out. i'd rather have eli dealing with a rookie than someone like brandon marshall's crazy ass.

Crabtree definitely wants big money and it is obvious he is not a fan of being drafted by the 49ers. Hopefully Nicks comes back from injury and gets back to a good start, besides that easy dropped pass I saw a lot of promise from him. We already see how Darrius Heyward-Bey is struggling right now.

If Jerry didn't trade up on draft day for a receiver, I don't see how he could get Crabtree. Or maybe he did try, and the price was just too high. Or maybe Crabtree's price goes down, with each held-out day...
