The U creates some of the best defensive talents. He will definitely help guarding the long ball, a safety with CB skills.

Massively overpaid, he is a good safety but far from the best, yet he is paid like the best.

That's what happens with inflation. Just look at Julius Peppers, Haynesworth, and most other major defensive signings over the past couple years.

Actually Bob Sanders and either Laron Landry or Ed Reed make more than him and Eric Berry will the moment he's drafted, but I hear ya. He is getting paid more than a lot of players better than him, he definitely hit FA at the right time.

Maybe when it comes to terms of Guaranteed money, don't see how he is the highests paid safety. Maybe they are just trying to hate on the Giants.

Here are the salaries of the league's best safeties.

Bob Sanders 5yrs 37.5 mil
Ed Reed 6yrs 44.6mil
Troy Polamalu 5yrs 33mil
Adrian Wilson 5yrs 36.5mil

I'm not sure about all of them but I know ed reed, laron landry and Sanders got a lot more guaranteed money as well. And since a lot of the money, 14-15 million, is in salary for those last two years, which Rolle probably won't see, the deal isn't as big as it's been hyped up to be.
