It's just to light a fire under his ass because Todd Haley isn't happy with all of his dropped balls in camp. Once the regular season starts, he'll be the #1 option. The Chiefs have no one else.

If he demands a trade and is unhappy...we'll be able to get away with him for less than a first rounder. Not much less but probably less.

if he is, Cotchery is gone

that makes no sense??? that would be a 1-2 punch cotchery isn't going anywhere

meaning they would have to trade Cotchery...You think Denver is going to give up their best Reciever, and a top 5 reciever in the league without getting great value in return and a good WR to replace him?

That's not really good logic just because they're trading a WR doesn't mean that they'd want one back, besides they have Eddie Royal, if Denver trades Marshall they'd want young talent in return and picks. Jets wouldn't trade Cotchery as they see the potential of Marshall/Cotchery as a 1-2 punch. I think we can expect Denver to want Gholston/Clemens/future pick for Marshall

Thomas Jones or Chansi Stuckey would be more realistic being included in the trade

That's stupid, of course we have to give something really valuable, they're very good/elite WRs for a reason. That's kind of why I won't be surprised if they'd want Gholston because of his potential, a 2nd, Stuckey and/or Clemens. young talents that could help both teams. Besides, with this economic crisis, I don't think they'd want to deal with paying another unproven rookie a crap load of money just because they're in the 1st round.

I'd give them Clemens and Gholston in a heartbeat...especially Gholston. I realize we'll be thin at the spot for a few weeks due to suspensions but...I just really think Gholston's a bust.

You are not alone in that. I want Bowe more though. I see a lot of problem with Marshall coming here.

I would have reservations about Marshall too. Once you trade for him, you have to sign him to a contract in order to make him happy. And you've got an extensive arrest record there as well as the fact as he is coming off hip surgery. Even if he is solid citizen in the immediate future, the long-term track record for guys like this isn't usually very good.

so make it incentive based and able to be voided if arrested(where he has to pay back some signing bonus money). I think this would have to be his best and jets best idea.

Are WR's are almost as bad as the Giants and thats bad. We could definately use Marshall. I'll do a 2nd and a 6th. We better sign Washington too after that Raven game it's obvious he's gonna be the man for us this year.

I think we're currently working on signing Washington. As for Marshall, I respect his game on the field. He's a great player and good playmaker, but he's an idiot off the field. All the crap he's pulled in Denver, would be magnified 10x if he were in New York. Honestly, I think Denver has been too forgiving with him and has to be harder on him. Josh McDaniels will do and already has done that.

Would anybody be willing to work out a trade Michael Crabtree? Maybe if we can pull off a Vernon Goulston , next year's 1st , and a conditional 3rd or 4th rd pick. I would hope that is what it would take.

If this works can you imagine, Sanchez, Crabtree, Keller, nd Washington growing together? I think the team would be great.

Couldn't afford to move Gholston at least till the 4th week when pace is back and even then that hurts our depth. For next year's first and a conditional though, I'd do it.
