Leon Washington Out for Season

Post#1 » by knickknack » Mon Oct 26, 2009 2:51 am

" Jets running back Leon Washington is out for the remainder of the season after breaking his leg on Sunday.

He suffered a fractured fibula in the first half of the team's win over the Raiders, according to sources.

Washington had one carry for six yards before suffering the injury"

The bad news is we lost a pivotal part of our offense.Leon Washington was vital with a young struggling quarterback. It so important to have a good running game with a rookie quarterback. The good news Shonne Greene seems to have promise. I was very impressed with his perfomance against the Raiders today. Shonne Greene makes me think all is not lost on the offense side of the ball. I forgot to mention we have guy named Thomas Jones. I heard he ran 200 plus yards against the Bills.

yea, losing leon really hurts, and I hate to see him go down like that. Such a likeable guy, and a go to player..

today shonn green looked like a stud. Yea, I know it was vs the raiders, but he looked great..

Get well soon leon. See you back, kickoff next year buddy...

Get well soon Leon...

We get an early look at how good Shonn Greene can be for us. Not the worst thing considering he was already penciled in by many to be the starter of the future...
Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies...

Oucch, losing Kris jenkins hurt us, and then Washington breaks his ankle. Looks like the seasons already falling apart
