Letting feeling go was a huge mistake. I understand that it freed us up to sign Jason Taylor but at this point a kicker is much more important that what Taylor has been able to provide this season.

Strongly disagree with you. We needed a pass rush presence and Taylor has been what I expected him to be. My only issue is we don't use him in more sets rather than just rushing the passer on third downs, and frankly that's a coaching flaw, not a knock on his play. Kickers are a dime a dozen. Remember NE got Gostowski and the Jets got Feely both as as a mid-season FAs. These guys are interchangeable, vet pass rushers not as much.

Kickers more than any other position benefit from changes of scenery. I'd love to give Brown a shot. He knows how to kick and may excel here. We'll get by.
