Week 9: Jets 27 Bills 11 Final

Post#1 » by zilby » Sun Nov 6, 2011 8:12 pm

20-3 at the moment. Jets D appears dominant minus that breakdown against Steve Johnson.

If we win this, and NE loses, there's a three way tie for division lead. That's ridiculous.

Also, if anybody wants to gif Santo and Rex airtime, be my guest :)

Huge win. First on the road and the Jets looked improved. Three-way tie in the division as the Patriots head visit East Rutherford this week coming off losses to the Steelers and the Giants.

I don't understand how this board could be so lifeless with the Jets FINALLY rolling. Interesting that Revis finally looked human in this one and Sanchez made some big mistakes but was actually pretty accurate and marched the team up and down that field (so I'm not upset). Great performances from a lot of our guys, especially the LB core.

I haven't been watching the game at home for the last few weeks. I'll try to post more often, especially this week.

Sanchez really had a good game with the EXCEPTION of the INT, that was just (Please Use More Appropriate Word)......but hes slowly building up chemistry with Plax, and the running game is looking solid as the weeks progress, the O-Line is much improved still dont like Hunter, and Moore has been pretty disappointing but Mangold is god, and even the likes of Slauson has improved much

I almost never watch from home tbh, but we should really have a few discussions going post game. I mean, Sanchez is improving and Plax looks like he's getting it back. Holmes is drawing penalties again. The O-line and run game are improving. The D is...well it's Jets Defense.

Plus the Pats and Bills are trending downward. We have a lot to be excited about and really only one thing to complain about...the Jets schedule is ROUGH.

His penalties make me want to choke him. Sometimes, it's as if he forgets the snap count from the huddle to the line.

I'm so happy Plax for the better part has proved me wrong all season. He's shown he's still a huge threat in the red zone and on third down.

I'm also starting to be a firm believer that every Sanchez pass should come from play-action, especially with the running game going again. I also love the fake handoffs to pitches. They're finally showing some creativity on run plays.

The only games I'm nervous about are this Sunday's against the Pats and the Giants in Week 16. The Pats' defense is STRUGGLING and I think as long as the Jets keep Brady off and don't leave points on the field, we could be very happy by the end of the night. The Giants are still a long way away and I'll look into it more when the time comes. The rest are very winnable.
