Good news, even though I fully expected him to sign one

Hopefully the Revis rumors are true

P.S. i know this will get moved but let it stay a little so ppl can actually see it and discuss it

7 years 55 mil for the best Center in the game. The dominoes are falling for the Jets. If Harris signs an extension, Revis is gonna look worse.

Yeah, it was. You have to watch it...go to hbo.com and watch it now lol. It's a great episode.

Great move by the Jets. Lock him up, get Harris over with, and once Revis sees that the Jets are ready to move on without him, hopefully he'll man up and just go to camp and work on an extension throughout the season. The team is great as it is, but with Revis, they're THAT much better...scary.

Revis is the only one having trouble working out a new deal. This is NOT a good look for him.

22 days and counting for Revis' holdout. The irony of a guy going to camp getting his deal and the one not going being not even close is great.

It is not ironic really. Most teams would rather give the guy who is at camp the deal than reward the holdout.

Can't sign Harris yet still under contract this is the same issue with Revis. there is a 30 percent raise rule for these players so if they get a big payday it is guaranteed bonus and who in their right mind would guarantee 100 million dollars to any player in the NFL?
This is them rewarding Mangold for coming to camp and not holding out. Note to Revis you already gave up 20 million in guaranteed salary for the last year of your contract so if you come into camp something can be reworked for this and next year but the longer you hold out the worse it gets. Because if you wait till a CBA you can loose it all the last year of your contract and the big time money this year as well.

Revis really won't gain anything if he stops holding out. He's been out too long to come back now, he's going to just have to keep holding out while his agent works on a deal.

CLass move and absolutely the right thing to do for the Jets. Reward your stand out player who is in camp busting his butt and worry about Revis tomorrow.

Yes sir!

Is it too late for Revis to show up and hopefully get his money?

If I was Revis, I'll wait and see how the Jets do in week 1 with Raven's wide receivers?

If the Jets defensive backs struggle against them, I could see the Jets giving Revis his money.

I don't think the Jets will go that far. One game is enough. The Jets need to pay Revis. That man brings it everyday on sunday and twice on monday.
