Adam Schefter's twitter:
Darrelle Revis is scheduled to be at the Jets training facility tomorrow to sign the deal. Numbers likely to be a team, but not NFL record.
Jeez, wonder how much he got.

They should have just given him the money in the beginning.

Hopefully he has been doing conditioning as his own. He is a top 5 player in the league, no reason not to pay him as one. If only we had a QB who wasn't garbage and couldn't beat out John David Booty at USC. But all Sanchez has to be is Trent Dilfer and we can win a Super Bowl.

The Jets defense is not quite the force those Ravens were.

why? He lost the entire preseason because they balked at giving him the money he was going to get anyway.

Because, if we did that, we'd be giving him 160 million. No way.

I'm hearing that they will be signing him after week 1 so his money won't be guaranteed so no worries.

He's correct, we shouldn't have signed him in the beginning. If what I hear from my people is correct, the deal is 4yrs 46M 32M guaranteed. So waiting got us one hell of a deal done.

Yeah I read that too.. Just seems like these cost cutting moves are hurting the players respect for MGMT. Saw a couple quotes saying, "****ing redicilous," and what not... hopefully players continue to want to play for us and play hard.
On that note, sign Harris
