Week 2: Patriots 14 Jets 28 Final

Offensive playcalling has to be much more risky than last week and penalties on both sides of the ball have to be limited for us to have a good shot at winning this one.
As far as injuries go, Pace is still out. Pool and Revis had limited practice, but Revis will definitely play and Pool is listed as questionable.

I'm doubtful abt this game that the Jets can win. Total offense has to be about 400 to get this W. Sanchez has to perform. Cro and Wilson need to stop Welker who isnt 100%. Moss has gotten slower so I'm not worried abt him. And someone needs to watch the TE. Because Brady is gonna go to him alot. Hopefully Pool gets to play so we can see him in action.

Final list of inactives:
Bob Harris wrote:The Patriots have declared DT Brandon Deaderick, LB Dane Fletcher, OL Nick Kaczur, OL Steve Maneri, OL Quinn Ojinnaka, WR Taylor Price, CB Terrence Wheatley and RB Danny Woodhead inactive for today's game in the New Meadowlands.
The Jets will be without OL Patrick Brown, QB Kellen Clemens, TE Jeff Cumberland, DE Marcus Dixon, OL Vladimir Ducasse, DT Howard Green, RB Joe McKnight and LB Calvin Pace.
Julian Edelman, listed as questionable with an injured foot, is active. It's not clear what kind of role he's ready to play, however.

Nice...NE iced Gostkowski...sort of. First attempt was good, but the delay of game pushed it back 5. Second attempt was wide left. Jets Ball!
And we were kind enough to give it right back. High throw from Sanchez hits Keller's fingertips and is intercepted. Play may be under review.

Overturned. I just hope they don't stop trying downfield now.
Is it me or is Weatherford's kicking the ball much farther than last year? Anyone have anything on that?

LOL I don't. That was just just miscommunication. I hate when they know they cant catch it and try to tip it.

I have to watch it again, but it looked at first glance that if Keller didn't catch it, those defensive backs might have had a better shot at intercepting it. Either way, I just want Sanchez to throw deep if he sees an opportunity.
And Eric Smith with a forearm to Welker's head...more penalties.

I know SMFH. Defense looks OK so far.

And a non-call by the refs...how did they not see that illegal formation?

Jets need to turn this into a shootout if they wanna win. Because the Patriots are getting downfield too easily.
