This idiot just said for the Jets to win, Shonn Greene has to run for 150 yards...I don't understand how analysts get paid for "expert analysis" at all.

I hope that wasn't from Marv Albert. I expect so much better than that from Marv.

An idiotic play on special teams not from the Jets. Color me shocked...

And the ball goes right through Holmes's hands for the INT. Bravo.

Awful beginning to this game for us...and it's literally completely on Holmes.

P.S. That was an extremely soft call for the Pace hit.

Sanchez should call out the offensive line after the game, but that never works out well for a QB. Rex should do it.

Wow, Vick let go of that ball at the last split second while lowering his head and Dixon gets called for roughing the passer.

I don't understand these unnecessary roughness calls.

Santonio Holmes is an IDIOT. I hope he got chewed out. Don't look now but the Eagles are giving us a chance to come back.

Our O-Line needs serious help. We need to fix the LB's too, way too many missed tackles. That's not to mention issues at Safety. I wouldn't throw Sanchez away for Peyton Manning when the team has much more glaring flaws elsewhere.

OUR OFFENSIVE line outside of brick and mangold stinks... santonio threw this game for us today.. the fumble and then the ball through the hands near the goal line for and INT, killed us early..

with this horrible loss today, we still control our own destiny because the raiders blew their game today... we hold the tie breaker over the bengals so all we have to do is win our last two games, which won't be easy.....

Whenever we lose, the reasons are always the same. The weaknesses this team has are so obvious and it makes me sick. I pray that we finally realize them in the offseason aswell and don't waste time in bidding wars for highly overrated CBs. This game yesterday was especially brutal since the Eagles are a team that can perfectly exploit our biggest weaknesses which are...

1) Lack of a pass rush. Vick is not very accurate, was out for some time etc. Yet he had all day to throw yesterday. In our base defense we never get to the QB. Maybin is a limited player as of now and can't really be counted on. He gave us way more than than we could have asked for but the Jets have a huge problem at OLB. Pace is a complete backer but getting old fast.

2) Horrible safety play. With the loss of Leonhard we had to watch Eric Smith being in there on every defensive snap and it is awful to watch as it has been all year. He is slow, can't tackle and he can't cover. He is a smart player and a nice backup considering he can also play the rover LB position but hell, he is propably one of the worst starting safeties in the entire league.

3) Aging linebackers. Outside of Harris and Pace at times we do not have a single three down linebacker on this team. Bart Scott has lost two steps and is a prime example for one big problem with the defense - way too many one way players (DeVito, Smith, Pouha, Scott, Westerman, Maybin).

4) Pass protection. Wayne Hunter has been abysmal all year and what is even more concerning that our coaching staff still lets him go up against premier pass rushers one on one. That Hunter has not been benched is a major red flag as it means we do not have one better tackle on the roster. With Hunter playing as poorly as he has all of a sudden another big need has arisen for next year.

This team has a lot of nice pieces in place but Rex and the front office have to realize that certain positions need an overhaul. Last year they started one on the DLine, now it is time to get us new safeties, linebackers and unfortunately a new RT. Wide receiver is another desaster as we have one of the weakest receing corps in the entire league, none of our guys gets any consistent separation.

BTW Holmes act yesterday was a complete embarrassment...

Oh and what my post comes down too, overall this team lacks team speed and athletisism and most importantly at key positions.
