Guess what creeped up around the corner and is suddenly in 9 days?
Schedule:

Interested to see how Sanchez and Tebow do working in a 2 QB system, even though it's preseason we should still be evaluating it somewhat and seeing how it looks.
Watch to see if the O-Line is any better than the disaster it was last year.
What do you think the biggest thing to look for in the preseason is? Are you excited? We'll have to see. J-E-T-S, JETS JETS JETS!

well I'll go first watching the game now. Scott looks slow our d line looks stout Coples looks like a rookie not bad you have seen him around the play which is good. But between Pace and Scott they should not be in coverage at all.
Most importantly no one gets hurt....

I'd like to go on record that I was not and still am not a fan of the Tebow trade. Thank you.

The first team offense didn't look AWFUL...The O-Line and blocking altogether was pretty weak though. Sanchez looked good when they afforded him time and I really liked Patrick Turner's play. The running game was incredibly meh.
Tebow can't throw...he can run...just can't throw...Not surprised or enthusiastic about him. Everything on the second team was disappointing though.
The defense was disappointing and I think it all falls to the LB's in coverage. For the most part, the CB's are gonna do their job and I liked how our safeties looked most of the time. Coples got himself deep in a few plays which was promising, but he's obviously got a ways to go. The blitz packages seemed slow to me, but maybe that's a part of the whole first game of preseason thing. Hopefully things will improve.

Eric Smith sprained his MCL in the first game (the same knee that he had arthroscopic surgery on a year ago) and is missing the final three games. Hope he's recovered fully by the regular season when it starts

It's sad that his injury makes me more worried for Special Teams than Safety Depth...

3 things
Hunter still sucks how bad was that?
These refs are awful
Hunter still sucks I know a repeat but man he just looks bad and that carries over into this series.
It is amazing that one player can screw up the offense and the defense
The giants going for on 4th and 1 and get it. This Jets needs to get mad and actually play. The refs need to start to call some of this offensive holding on the giants

Hunter...we couldn't draft anyone to challenge him?
Greene still shuffles his feet. Run blocking from the line needs polish as well.

Horrible throw by Sanchez there. You either zip that one through with the defender in front of the receiver or lob it over.

I understand how good the Giants d-line is, but Hunter...you are killing me!
Excellent punt by Conley.

Our offense sucks.
That is all.

Wayne Hunter is living proof that one weak link can break a chain. WR's need to heal and the O-line needs to provide some kind of protection before I can even judge Sanchez/Tebow fairly...for now they've been bad, but had no time because of abysmal protection.

Not that we needed an article to conclude this.
We've been saying that here for the last year. About time the media took notice.

Lotta Jets fans want us to gun for Jones-Drew...I just want a right tackle.

Hunter demoted, Howard has moved to starter and will be with the first unit for the Panthers...I like it, but I don't really know how much of an upgrade this guy really is...we'll find out soon enough.

I'll put it this way: a sack of potatoes in a Jets jersey is a better RT than Wayne Hunter at this point. Howard could be our guy until we find a new RT. Good move by Rex.
