218 yards rushing and part of me is somehow absolutely convinced the Jets still won't address the receivers or secondary this offseason.

That loss feels like it sums up the Jets season in a nutshell...

. Start off down because of DB mistakes.

. Mount a slow but steady comeback because of redzone ineffectiveness compounded by holding penalties that turn 1st and 10 inside the 20 to 1st and 20 inside the 30.

. Completely unable to stop a 2 minute drill that is really a 1 minute drill.

. Manage TD's in the second half that put us in a position to force OT or even win.

. Blow the game in the final decisive plays.

The Jets feel like last year's Knicks...come from behind but lose it at the last minute with personnel issues at key places on the field/court.

Here is what bothered me:

4 trips to the red zone and 4 field goals..

on one of those trips it was 2nd and 1, geno and ivory somewhat botch the read option and ivory loses two yards that should never happen... stop being cute, power ahead and get the first.. ivory can fall for one yard.

Amaro dropping a wide open pass that stalled another drive.

on defense, the pats 3rd and goal from the 20.. why just rush three guys? you gave that cripple brady time to limp and find another clown amendola for a circus catch TD.. of course... why not blitz... you have the endzone at your back, just keep them in front.. blitz and force brady to get rid of the ball quicker..

next using two timeouts in the 3rd quarter... jeez..

1-6.. I said 8-8 would get you a wild cared spot in the AFC and the sad thing, we are pretty much out of that..
