I still have my Revis authentic, I'll have to peel the duct taped X off his name though.

Haha nice. I wonder how much the McCourty contract dips into the Pats's cap space.

If I'm watching Carpenter next year thinking we could have had Iupati, It's gonna burn.

Big Snacks got a second round tender and Jarret got a third round tender. I think cost of signing plus giving up a day one pick should be too much for teams to go hard at these guys.

Powell stays, Carpenter officially in, Aboushi moving to the right side?

That's my guess. Ferguson, Carpenter, Mangold, Aboushi, and Giacomini. I'd still rather look for upgrades.

I'd placed Giacomini out of sight and out of mind...I don't know why but that move bothers me so much. I'd love to see him replaced and even if it's a project, I think we should start looking for Ferguson's replacement pretty soon.

The only one in the group I'm confident in is Mangold. Jets should've went hard for O-line in free agency with Orlando Franklin, Mike Iupati, and Jermey Parnell.

EDIT - That's my bad fellas. I was out walking since the weather is finally nice here in Canada and posted impulsively based on a couple of texts from friends.

But yeah, Rich Rane had me down below, Schefter saying Revis could likely become a Jet once again.

I like the pickup of Skrine. He's only 25 and has some room to improve. Could be a decent nickel if Pryor needs more time and/or Wilson still doesn't show anything.

Revis' return confirmed by Schefter. Somewhere above $40 million guaranteed so I'm guessing it's gotta be a 5-6 year deal. Great signing.

EDIT: Highest paid CB in NFL history? Yeesh.

Someone else reported, don't remember where, said Cro was also considering returning here. Would be fun to reunite the two of them, it'd feel like 2010 all over

I hear Cromartie wants $6 million per year. I'm not sure if Jets are willing to pay him that much even though they can.

Yeah, I wouldn't pay 6 for Cro either.

Revis' deal is 5 years, $70M. Averages out to a cap hit of $16M annually, which means we've about $31 in cap still.

Well we fixed our horrendous corner situation in one day...would be a big bonus if the likes of Dee comes back strong an stays healthy, and you have a returning McD

I've seen some mention of Jets talking to Cromartie too. Not sure how we can swing that but wow, that'd be nuts. Pass Rushing LB in the draft seems like a no-brainer to me. I'm prepping for a year of Fitzpatrick before we make a splash at QB as well. I can't see a Mariota pick-up with the way this FA has gone.
