Blech. What the hell happened during training camp? It looks like these guys are still in pre-draft form.

This is bad even for the first Preseason game.

Not really sure why Jace Amaro hasn't played so far.

Preseason is no excuse to not tackle properly.

At least Marcus Williams has been a bright spot tonight. Good be a good depth at corner, at least in the red zone.

This punter also looks like he has a better leg than Quigley. I wanna see if he can position the ball well, but the offense can't even get a first down, let alone approach Lions territory.

Aaaand yeah, Schum might not have too much control on his leg. Not enough hangtime and length on that last punt.

Fitz looks decent. Probably a TD drive if Cumberland holds on to that catch.

Don't forget, we had Wilkerson and Richardson both out of the starting lineup. I'm not too worried, tackling will get better. Once we get big Mo back and Fitz gets more reps we'll be okay. The team chemistry took a hit when Geno got hurt. Don't forget Petty was taking very little reps and they were all 3rd team reps until the incident. Now in this game he took the majority of reps. Fitz was getting low reps as well because he was coming back from a broken leg. Petty isn't ready for the pro level yet and Fitz only played for 1 drive and was 2/3, shoulda been 3/3. People are buying way too deep into this game. Fitz will get more reps over the next week and gain chemistry with the first team offense. Petty is brand new and looked like crap, but this is no surprise in his very first action with very little prior reps. Don't worry, the sky isn't falling yet. This Friday, we'll see Fitz with more chemistry and more reps. Hopefully Wilks will be back soon. I wasn't surprised in the least by how this game went. Were people really expecting Petty to light it up?

^Fitz definitely looked better in games 2 and 3. This team is looking decent, especially on D. This D will keep them in almost every game they play. I'm feeling good, and I think the Pats will have an off year due to karma. If the offense can finally lose the turnover bug, and the defense forces turnovers like they've been doing, the Jets will be in the playoffs. The D is good enough that all the QB has to do is play mediocre and not lead the league in turnovers.

I'm actually a little bit excited for the season now. Should be at least 8 wins, and surely there will be 3 or 4 close games that could go either way. Could be a 10 win team if everything falls into place and we get some lucky bounces. Could also easily be a 6-7 win team if **** hits the fan.
