End of Chad?

New York Daily News - The Jets lost another game and Chad Pennington lost his biggest supporter Sunday, a staggering blow to his reign as the starting quarterback.

For the first time since his job security became an issue three weeks ago, Pennington didn't receive a public vote of confidence last night from a seething Eric Mangini, who put the entire team on notice after a ghastly 38-31 loss to the Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium.

Instead of declaring, "Chad is the starting quarterback," as he has done so many times, Mangini resorted to the time-tested, kiss-of-death: "I'll have to watch the tape." [READ]

Bottom line is this.
- Pennington is a great leader, great classy guy.
- He does not have the talent to take this team to the next level.
- We are not winning this season, we need to see why we traded up to get Clemens.

I fully expect to see a starting Clemens this week.
Jazz: Under reconstruction, we'll be back.

Looks like Clemens has to start....we have no other choice, we're in no position to win anything this season, we might as well start Kellen.

So long Chad! Don't let the door hit you in the shoulder on the way out, you might need a third surgery.
