you know what, i'm looking at pace's stats from last year and this is a great signing. He was a 1st rd pick in 03

Ya, we overpayed but I was expecting a 5 year/35M dollar deal with 20 guaranteed so it's not that much off.
I'm excited about this signing. So far this offseason, look at all the holes we have filled.
NT.. Jenkins trade and re sign
OG.. Faneca official signed
OT.. Woody will be signed

Yes we overpaid, but hell... we got a player who fits our D perfectly and will provide things we need. Along with the other signings we are having a monster offseason and we still have 7 draft picks to work with after the DRob deal and two of those picks have great value (6th overall and high second rounder). The Jets have the money, we lacked talent and fitting personel on this team and our FO is changing that...

Overpaid, but was a great signing. Fits great with our 3-4 and has a lot of talent. This was needed.

I'm a Cards fan and I'm going to say you guys spent WAY too much money on pace. 42 million over 6 years?!? You can have him, just be sure to keep him away from glass doors
Anyways you guys made some nice moves over the season, let's just hope we don't hear "With their 1st round picks the Jets take fullback..." "NOOOO!!!!!" I love that video.
