Ok, we have a lot of holes. Starting with the offense, we need a definitive QB. Will we draft Matt Ryan? Will we draft a QB in the later rounds? I really doubt it because you never know. I think Kellen didn't get a fair shot because of the crappy line and when you look at Net point, we scored more with Kellen on the field then Chadwick. RB, we can use a dynamic player like McFadden but we have a lot of depth there. Jones isn't explosive but he can get the job done. Behind this revamped offensive line, I think he can have a 1300+ rushing season. Leon is a good change of pace guy who just needs more touches. Jesse Chatman is also a solid #3 option. I also liked the signing of Richardson with the schemes we run, he'll be really useful. TE, we're set. Baker very underrated and the best hands on the team. WR is a huge problem IMO. Love Cotchery but Coles is getting old and very brittle. He's one hit away from another concussion. We need a speedy receiver or a big target for the red zone, just another weapon overall. Also, offensive line help would be nice late day 2.
Defensively, we got so much better this off season. We got rid of DRob and have a legit Nose tackle. Jenkins didn't play NT but consistently was double teamed. Coleman is very solid and stout against the run but LE is definitely a need. Ellis is solid at best but non existent at times on the field and lacks any burst of the line. Barton should not be starting in this league. He makes no impact tackles and isn't athletic, we could use an upgrade. This year it's produce or get removed for Bryan Thomas. He was rewarded with a big contract and was terrible last year so he has to get some impact plays this year. Pace isn't really a sack machine but he can get to the QB but his best asset is his versatility. He can drop back and make plays covering the TE especially or playing a zone and knocking down or intercepting balls. Secondary, I like Elam but we can use an upgrade. Using one of our round 4 picks(Where we got Rhodes) we can get a DB for the safety of CB position where we have needs. Miller and Barrett are nothing more then nickel CBs even though we saw some signs from Miller in the 2nd half of 2006. And IMO with the defense, our biggest problem is that we can never bum rush guys with man to man coverage. We always have to blitz Kerry to get sacks. We need a mean **** who can just take someone's head off.

I wouldn't see QB as a hole until we have seen Clemens behind a real Oline. Elam at safety is also pretty solid, nothing special but ok. Can't have a star anywhere. We defintely need depth in some areas, such as defensive line and in the LB corps...
Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies...
