I agree. Normally.., I don't like early bye beeks because.., there really shouldn't be much to recoup from in week 4 but.., this year., I'm grateful. Favre is the key to our season as much as any other component if not more so. With his gimpy ankle.., two weeks would do him and us good. Also.., we seem to be a team of momentum. Meaning.., we get better with more games played consecutively. I know we won the first lost the next two and one the latter. However.., I still think we much improved with each game more. Favre is learning the playbook and our players on offense is learning to trust each other more. Proper timing between receiver and quarterback is gaining much improvement. More importantly.., our coach is gaining trust for our hall of fame quarterback.
And its also to our great advantage to comeback from the bye playing a weak opponent., Cincinnatti as oppose to playing a really high powered team like Denver who we have later in the season. We should have some rust in our tank coming back after two weeks so.., playing the Bengals should get us off to a roll of winning. I'm happy with this early bye week.., though I might be bored with noone to cheer for this Sunday.
