Week 1: New York Jets @ Houston Texans

Post#1 » by EchelonNYK » Fri Sep 11, 2009 3:50 pm

A lot of folks are picking Houston to defeat the Jets on Sunday. i simply don't see that happening..if they do, then that means our D bombed out, and they stop our running attack

i can't see Houston accomplishing both. the New York Jets SHOULD win this...

Houston at home is just outrageously good. For some reason they suck away and dominate at home. I'm intimidated.

Great game today from Gang Green, the game plan worked to perfection and Sanchez had a great debut, besides the pick, I can't fault him on anything

The guy was amazingly patient after every snap and waited for his receivers instead of panicking or scrambling out of the pocket to make a play for himself. The kid's got some moves. Threw to only 4 guys, but did well distributing the ball to those 4.

Running game stared off slow, thanks to Mario Williams and Amobi Okoye. Tired them out and Jones stuck a fork in them. Washington was great to watch as usual with whatever he was doing on the field.

Defense was amazing even without Ellis and Pace. They didn't allow one score. It was entertaining, it was explosive, it was exciting...just a great job.

Sanchez was great. Third down conversions was money. took what the defense gave him and delivered great passes. looked real poised out there..

Defense was tough, and pressured shchaub from the start. Revis was in Johnson's face all day..

great win on the road!

Banned substance, he said it was an over the counter and he was foolish not to look deeper into it.
