Rex Ryan has completely shut down the wildcat last year and I see no reason why he can't do it this year with our top three defense in the league. I just don't see Henne doing anything against our pressure. So overall, even if I want to be pessimistic, I just don't see how Miami's offense wants to score on us at all.

That leaves our offense against their defense. They are very stout against the run but their secondary isn't anything special in my eyes. We will have to do just what we needed to do in every other game so far on offense. Limit mistakes, play field position and don't put the defense in a hole. Worked three times, didn't work out in New Orleans.

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to stop by and say good luck. Should be interesting. Your defense looks great under Rex Ryan. Feel free to stop by the dolphins board for the game thread.

Can't wait to see Edwards in this offense and Pace's season debut. If our defense plays like last week the entire game, we'll win this.

Big game tonight. We have a chance to bury the fish and get a one game lead on the Pats. We should destroy them. Keep em off the board.

exactly Fat Kat and Rich.

its good because of edwards and pace now.

pace only makes our defense better and edwards gives us a legit receiver to go to when the run isnt working.

The defense has finally got it together it seems. The offense needs the run to keep opening things up, we can't rely on 4th down trick plays all night.

Braylon F'n Edwards!!! Yeah baby. That's was I'm talking about.

The Edwards effect is insane. Brian is finally letting Sanchez throw downfield, something he didn't allow the first three f'n quarters. Every time Sanchez goes deep, the game opens up for the whole offense. I hate Schottenheimer.

trick gimmick offense. the thing about that is that now we have seen everything they have. I guarantee you in two weeks when we play those bums again, the results will be much different. We let this clown Henne get comfortable back there. the thing about the wildcat , playing teams in your division is that they see everything in one game... we are the better team, it is not even close. we will take this loss and roll from here....

BTW: that intentional grounding was not called as well. I mean he was getting sacked and threw the ball out of bounds. No one in sight....

I am pissed!!

I could complain about the refs, but when you're defense doesn't forgets how to tackle, who the hell cares?

I will say this.. cotchery was playing hurt, we also didn't have litto sheppard. Keller was invisible, but Edwards gives us another dimension that will make us tough as hell to beat.. Miami needed their home field, crowd, a 450 play, playbook, trick plays, gimmicks and a blown grounding call to eek out a win...

we let them get two big first down on throws henne pulled out of his rectum... One play coleman gambled and should have just played the receiver instead of trying to cut off the pass...

letting brown just jog into the endzone was ridiculous... Against this HS gimmick offense, the jets just need to shuffle in more defensive players to keep guys fresh. that means more gholston and more rest for jenkins early.. we had chances on offense to go up more. we need to get better there as well. We are the better team, but we let this one get away...

Tough loss but I can live with it, unlike last week's when it was all about errors.

We need better run defense, and Thomas Jones SUX.

I think we had many chances to stop the wildcat tonight. We had hands, arms, wraps, and we just let them blow by us. The worst thing is knowing they CAN stop the wildcat, but didn't.

that means more gholston and more rest for jenkins early.

Has he even played the last few weeks? I haven't even heard anyone criticizing him for play.

we had chances on offense to go up more. we need to get better there as well.

Is it just me, or is Thomas Jones, even with his TDs, becoming more expendable? The o-line still hasn't picked it up though. I will say something I loved tonight...Edwards is an instant upgrade in spreading out that defense.

We are the better team, but we let this one get away...

Definitely agree. That just makes me more furious though.
