Thomas Jones Signs With Kansas City Chiefs

Post#1 » by boneys2010 » Sun Feb 28, 2010 4:38 pm

Just wondering what some of you Jet fans might be thinking about Thomas Jones possibly getting let go,Is Shonn Greene ready to carry the Rock Full-Time?How bout Leon Washington's health?Does that concern you in any way?Jones is getting up there,so this is more than likely the correct move.Whaddya think???????

First - Where exactly are you coming from when you say 'you' Jets fans?

And second, it's already done.

I'm mainly a Browns fan.Go easy on me I'm NEW around here!LOL.Just curious to see what some people might think about Greene taking over the full time duties.

Nah, I'm cool with it.

I think Greene has a lot of potential, and barring a sophomore slump, I'm ok with it.

We all saw it coming anyway. And we are getting Washington back, so it is most likely not going to all be on Greene.

All of the above, including the Middle-Fingering!I'd sure rather have Ryan than my lousy Mangini.I'd rather have his Brother as my HC.He did a good job with our defense, for the most part.IMO

I seriously hate Eric Mangini, and I feel bad that we had to cast him off to you.

I think they're going to make a play for LT or Westbrook at a lower salary than what they gave Jones. We could definitely use a 3rd back in our offense and I wouldn't mind having LT here for a year or two.

We tendered a second on him. Huge gamble, but if no one wants to throw a second in for him, we could sign him for much cheaper than what he wants.

Speaking of tenders, Richard Marshall was also given a second round tender. I wouldn't mind signing him to an offer sheet with the possibility of pairing him up opposite of Revis.

I'm not against the cutting of Jones, especially if it means re-signing him at a better rate. And Greene should be fine, but I hope we pick someone else up in case he falters. I don't know if LT is still looking for a starting gig, but i'd do my best to get him in green. The two could be a monster combo. Maybe i'm dreaming...

Wiretap says Jets may or may not have matched TJ's offer :o

Hope they did, personally, I like him.
