My Mock Draft 3/27

Trade Leon to the 49ers for their 3rd round pick and a conditional pick in 2011 relative to Leon's production.
1st Rd.-[21]-Jerry Hughes-TCU

DE/OLB - 6'2" 255lbs.
The more pass rushers the better. Hughes is a fiery competitor whose style of play fits perfectly with what Rex wants to do. He can step in as a situational pass rusher and definitely challenge BT for the starting spot.
2nd Rd.-[61]-Alex Carrington-Arkansas State

34DE - 6'5" 290lbs.
Reminds me of the Big Cat so much. I would love if the Jets picked up Carrington in the 2nd round, it's a great value pick.
3rd Rd.-[79]- Ben Tate-Auburn

HB - 5'11" 220lbs.
Hmm, remind you of last year? Jets trading up (or into, in this case) in the third round to grab a running back? This guy is an explosive downhill runner with good speed when he's in the open field. A Greene/Tomlinson/Tate trio is one that I can be confident in heading into training camp.
4th Rd.-[124]-Alterraun Verner-UCLA

CB - 5'10" 189lbs.
Savy, play-making corner who could develop into a nice nickel. Very smart on and off the field. Was voted captain in 09 by his teammates.
5th Rd.-[155]-Marcus Easley-UConn

WR - 6'3" 210lbs.
His stock is flying right now so I wouldn't be surprised to see him gone by round 5. But if he's here, there's no way we pass on this kid. So much potential.
6th Rd.-[198]-Roddrick Muckelroy-Texas

34ILB/43OLB - 6'2" 246lbs.
I see him not only as a Day 1 special teams contributor, but someone who can play a pass-rush role in Rex's creative defensive schemes.
7th Rd.-[236]-Chris Hawkins-LSU
CB 6'0" 187lbs.
Warm body to compete with Cole and Coleman(if he resigns).
