Walker is due a $5 million bonus payment March 3. It is likely that the Raiders would rather release him than pay him. Thus, for the second straight offseason, an AFC West team is likely to release Walker.

Javon was told a while ago that he would not be retained, but as is standard protocol for the Raiders, we wait until the last minute in case a surprise trade offer pops up.
It won't. We are taking a 14m hit for a guy who's most memorable move as a Raider was spraying a crowd w/champagne and then getting the sh*t beaten out of him and robbed later in the night.
Oh, and I think he played some football for us too.
