What I've heard the past 6 months

Lately I havent been asking around about the Raiders as much. We dont have as many Raider clients anymore, but here's what I know...

Its true, JaMarcus is in better shape. I dislike the guy's play, attitude and demeanor with a passion, so its painful to say, but it looks like he finally realizes this is his last chance to keep his ridiculous contract. He's supposedly offering the same passing camp he did last year when we signed Garcia - but like last year, most expect him to not invite other QBs, and basically for the entire thing to fall through, again.

Chaz Schilens is in great shape and expected to fight for the #1 slot with Louis Murphy. Raiders are expected to add another vet WR to replace Javon Walker and fight for the #3 spot with Heyward Bey, who's NOT in line to start for Tom Cable. TO was never a true option, expect more like Bobby Wade or Muhsin Muhammad. Not that they're chasing those two, but that they want a cheap, vet reciever.

Tom Cable may have a lot more say in this draft than people think. He supposedly covets OT Anthony Davis but is also looking for DT/NT help to pair with Seymour, Kelly, and Wimbley. If we draft anything but a tackle, my guy says Cable had no say in it.

Michael Bush is the starting RB going into the draft, and likely will remain there until the preseason. McFadden hasn't really disappointed, he's very well liked, but the results on-field aren't there.
