OT-How Fast can you throw
So I saw the dunking question on the Bucks board and thought it might be fun to find out how fast we can all throw a baseball. I haven't done it my self in awhile but a few years ago at state fair I did manage to throw it 65 mph.
Who knows, maybe we have some Bullpen help for the Brewers right here on this forum.

I can throw in the high 70s and low 80s.
By my childhood home, Warrenville, IL, we have the Kane County Cougars, an Oakland Athletics minor league team; the one Josh Becket was on. They had this pitch meter where if you threw the highest MPH you could get 4 tickets for the next game, behind home plate.
We'd pay for tickets and we could go to a game for a week, or until they told us not to come back, which happened a few times.
The fun fact about my story is I couldn't throw the fastest in my group of friends. I had a buddy who could throw low 90s, never played baseball, ended up as an Indy Colt. Helluvan athlete.

highest I got at the state fair thing was 77 mph, last year. That's probably faster than I ever threw in high school, as my arm has gotten much stronger over the past 2 years.
And I still don't quite know how some people have problems with too little movement. My fastball did nothing but cut. I don't think I could ever throw a straight 4-seamer. I really wish I could've, though, as that might've done wonders for my control. So many full counts that could've been saved if I could've merely located a 4-seamer that I knew wouldn't move off the plate.

I'm thinking he shot a real gun.
Or I saw his "not really" at the bottom of his comment
