Our first trade down.. Our 4th for Carolina 4th, 5th, 7th. I like the idea of giving JDR and Tice some projects, and we've been scouting small schools heavily

Mario Edwards Jr. excites me but he also concerns me.
His conditioning will be something that I intend on trying to keep updated on. Let's hope for the best.

He said he cheated his years at Florida St. and could have been better prepare. I don't like that. His weight and work ethic concerns me the most.

dunno much about the Heeney kid.

http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/profiles/ ... id=2552306
looks like his athleticism is a plus.

Del Rio and Norton should be able to coach em up.
ST player for now.

He was the leader in missed tackles in 2014. Not a fan of this pick.

I would have taken him in the 5th Round over Ben Heeney.

“It’s a bull-(expletive) stat,” Heeney says. “I don’t care about that stat. It’s not like freaking Joe Schmoe is going through every single college football player and counting all their missed tackles. It’s an inaccurate stat.”

I'll be honest. I like that. I don't read it as excuse making for his shortcomings. I read it as, "i can get the job done."

I like Zach Vigil from Utah State more and could have waited until the 6th Round or 7th Round to get him. He's a tackling machine! Ben Heeney led the most missed tackles in 2014. We already have Miles Burris who missed tackles on the regular. Don't need another one. Not a fan of the pick.

WLB=Sio Moore & Malcolm Smith
MLB=Curtis Lofton & Ben Heeney
SLB=Khalil Mack & Miles Burris

But ask Fowler who might be the Gators' biggest eye-opener in the draft, he quickly mentions linebacker Neiron Ball.

"Neiron is freakishly athletic," Fowler said. "He can rush the passer and be that true Will linebacker or that Sam linebacker. Any coach would love to get him. I know he's going to be a surprise."

Ball checked in Tuesday at 6-foot-2, 236 pounds. He posted official 40-yard dash times of 4.6 and 4.62 seconds, and had a 34 ½-inch vertical jump.

"A lot of the teams are surprised that I'm doing as well as I am because microfracture surgery is a big deal."

Feliciano: massive power guy, very aware. Called a Scott's sleeper
Heaney: lol at citing missed tackles - that'll happen on poor defenses when you have 100+ tackles. Profiles similar to Borland, love that pick
Bell: top 100 talent,but the injuries. Worth a flier
Valles: project DE/OLB, great athlete

Non 3 down DTs fall in every draft. Mockers pump them up.. Then wonder why they fall. Ifo's a good question though: ACL injury isnt a death sentence.

If getting these linebackers means Miles Burris is leaving, I'm all for it!
