If the G-men pull their offer to Mr. Pierre-Paul, should we step up and be the first team outside his hospital room? We have 20mil left in cap space!

I'd be down but they're keeping him this year. They have no other pass rushers really. He'll be a UFA next year though and I'm fairly sure he wont get franchised again. Maybe his mentor Tuck can convince him to come over..

Definitely a concern... But do you agree that we need every advantage we can get when going after marquee free agents? Putting our trust in a guy that has had an injury that probably won't end his career and it's not like he blow out his knee or his back or had a head injury. He lost part of his finger. He can still swat passes and wrap up runners and turn the corner in pass rushing and bull rush guys. Ronny Lott still intercepted passes with his half hand, so Im confident he will be just as dangerous and we would come off as the team that cared not just about the money but about adding to our team and believed in him.

I, of course, know that this is all is very unlikely to happen and Im dreaming but just where my thought process was.
