Key to the game -
*Keys to the game: The Jets are third in the NFL with 15 takeaways but lost at New England last week with Patriots QB Tom Brady in unadulterated launch mode offering not even the hint of a running game. The Raiders strive for balance, but loosening the slack on QB Derek Carr's leash might be wise after his effort last week. Carr has made it a habit to go after the opposition's top corner each week and CB Darrelle Revis promises to be no exception. Some 300 yards of WR Amari Cooper's rookie-leading total of 519 have come after the catch.
Stopping RB Chris Ivory and keeping WR Brandon Marshall, on pace for 104 catches, from getting behind the defense are the essentials for the Raiders. Jets offensive coordinator Chan Gailey will need to be as patient with the run game as he was last week. Getting Ivory to move the pile and collect plenty of yards after contact should open up things for QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, who will have opportunities to create big plays. - By Jeff Reynolds, The Sports Xchange
The numbers show the Raiders have had one of the better offensive lines in the league this season. And they will be going up against probably the absolute best defensive line. The combination of Muhammad Wilkerson, Sheldon Richardson, and Leonard Williams is stout. They will give the Raiders all they can handle giving Derek Carr time to throw as well as Latavius Murray lanes to run through. It is definitely the Raiders offensive line's toughest task yet this season.
No match-up in the game is more exciting than this one. The rookie phenom Cooper who is coming off winning Rookie of the Week, heads to Revis Island. It's the kind of match-up that you long for as a football fan. Cooper has played well against some of the better corners in the game already such as Patrick Peterson, Pacman Jones, Joe Haden, and Aqib Talib. Now he faces the best. Welcome to the NFL, Rookie. - By Levi Damien

Raider Defense starts the game with 4 tackles for a loss on the first Jets drive. Down 3-0. Nice hold by the D.

very unimpressed with us on 3rd down on the 1st drive.
great throw from Carr to Holmes.
impressed with Musgrave on that drive as well.
Let's see if we can blow this one open

Man, Im with you!
Im just watching in disbelief that we can look this good vs a great defense. Cromartie looks like trash.
Listening to Papa on the call is hilarious "Crabtree with the catch on Cromartie. Crabtree makes his way down the sideline as he speeds by his fallen body." HAHA

The running gam showed up too! Getting good push, huge holes, and big gains. Terrible tackling by the Jets and I love it.

Whooo! Amerson with the truck stop hit on Smith. He hurt his non throwing shoulder but hide it well. He is all they have at QB, he has to stay in.

Re: Week 8 - NY Jets @ Oakland Raiders
Just got home from work. Figures we have an awesome showing when I have to miss watching! LMAO!
(don't dare to even suggest I "miss" watching the rest of the games for the reminder of the year for us to do well! Ain't happening!
Lolz!).
Now I humbly, politely request/ask does anyone have some reddit links for/with the complete game with all
the commercials etc edited out? Like game in an hour or something.
I vaguely remember someone/a poster linking those in one of the threads earlier in the year.
It would be *greatly* appreciated! Thanks in advance!
(or just PM them to me!)
RAIDERS WIN!! WOOOOOOOOO!! GO RAIDERS GO!!!!!!

Re: Week 8 - NY Jets @ Oakland Raiders
That was awesome! Having to rely on Geno Smith didn't help the Jets. I was surprised we were able to run on them so easily... however if you look at the Jets record, their wins have come against pretty sub-par teams, and they were probably not totally prepared for the Raiders, having somewhat overlooked them for their big game against the Patriots, and then traveling across the country.
A very good win! Though I'm not surprised, having wagered that the Raiders would outright win, forget the +3.
Next week will be another big AFC game, an I think one the Raiders will have a decent chance of winning.

Yeah, can't the entire game to watch for free anywhere...ugh
Or if it is in that sub-reddit I just don't see it. He has posted a lot of links for a lot of the plays though...
