we have three playres who are not NFL starer quality that are starting.

Heeney, McGill, and unfortunately, Sean Smith.

but all of them would have looked better if Mack and Irvin did a better job rushing the passer.

Interior of the d-line needs to put up more resistance vs. Tennessee tomorrow.

JDR has been heavily involved in the defensive meetings this week - I think we can do this!

Yup, got to get a consistent pass rush on Mariota(sp?) & stop the Titans run, force some turnovers as well would be nice.

We have one solid cover corner and Joseph has potential to be a good safety.. but Reggie Nelson is done, Bruce Irvin is not a great pass rusher, our ILBs are all below average and Stacy McGee has been our best lineman not named Mack.

On the + side, I've taken the over on the Raiders' games all year and only been let down once

yes but it seems unlikely he will. And even if he is, Aldon has to get into game shape. Probably a situational pass-rusher this year, which might be a good thing for us this year.

Mario will be back soon. Aldon needs to get approved by the League to return... today is six weeks since he applied for reinstatement, and the League is supposed to rule within six weeks (but don't have to). I wouldn't be surprised if Aldon's ill-conceived Periscope livestream gets his suspension extended.

Saw an article that said Aldon unlikely to return this year.. we'll see if he remains on the roster

Dammit this defense pissed me off for over half of the football game.

But geez they shut it down after going down 24-9.
