It's still so damn cold out -- it's going to be tough to pitchin this weather....
Looks like the cold is already affecting decisions for today -- Damon is sitting as a result of it being 36!!! in the bronx as well as some harsh winds. Cairo is playing LF and Nieves gets his first start behind the plate as well.

All that ras baby all that ras!
And why in good gods name is Miguel Cairo getting the start at LF? I understand Damon and Matsui are gone but does it hurt to like call up John Thompson and call down Mike Myers(WHo sucks ass btw). I mean seriously..
Well, there can only be 25 guys up. Means one guy has to be put onto the DL. Damon should be back any day. Matsui is being evaluated and should only be out 5-7 days and not the full 15. If I was managing I'd put Matsui on the DL and bring someone up but that's me and Joe is the hall of fame manager. -Jitpal

Stupid Torre....Miguel Cairo is not a left fielder --- i agree with you guys why not throw matsui on the DL or send someone down in order to start an OUTFIELDER rather than a utility man who normally plays middle infield.....
Hopefully he does ok I want to be proved wrong on this one.
No Posada, Damon, or Matsui???? Rasner on the mound??? = recipe for greatness
