Our true defensive stud, pay him whatever he wants.
-- DL Tyler Brayton: Scholarship expires for Gruden pick
Bye.
-- DE Chris Clemons: Huge surprise with eight sacks
Run defense is for suckers.
-- QB Daunte Culpepper: Checkout time came weeks early
Shell of himself
-- S Jarrod Cooper: Special teams nothing without him
A must sign.
-- WR Tim Dwight: Midseason fix didn't offer much
Should have retired.
-- RB Justin Fargas: Runs hard, doesn't complain. Sign him.
Bush and Rhodes are still under contract ...
-- RT Cornell Green: Too many injuries and false starts
Agreed. See ya.
-- DL Tommy Kelly: Versatility was huge before ACL tear
As a backup, I love him
-- QB Josh McCown: The ideal backup/mentor for JaMarcus Russell
Guy has miles of heart.
-- C Jeremy Newberry: Do his knees want another year?
They didn't want to play this year.
-- WR Jerry Porter: He expects a big payday. We'll see.
Best reciever ever in his own mind.
-- OLB Sam Williams: Fell out of favor with no explanation
Explanation: He's a LB that can't tackle.
Restricted
-- LB Jon Alston: Made a few plays on special teams
Re-sign, 100%
-- LB Ricky Brown: Niche special-teams player
Very poor open field tackler, dunno why we kept him.
-- CB Chris Carr: Franchise leader in kick returns
And has never run one back. Dump him.
-- LS Jon Condo: Perfect in replacing Adam Treu
Sure. Adam Treu still rocks though![]()
-- LB Isaiah Ekejiuba: A stud on special-teams coverage
Keep him.
-- FS Hiram Eugene: Started late, too many misses
Still better than Stu.
-- TE John Madsen: Rarely used, but he made catches count
Ideal backup TE / split TE

The article makes some good points... if Haynesworth hits FA, he should be priority #1... he's elite at DT... Bernard Berrian is also a big time name we need. I've listed it before, but our new updated list of needs:
1. Defensive tackle
2. Other defensive tackle
3. Wide Reciever
4. Tackles
5. OLB
6. FS
7. Nickel back
8. Dime back
I think we have 8 draft picks... knock them outta the park
