Devry Henderson (WR) stays with the Saints
Drayton Florence (CB) bolts SD to go to Jacksonville
Bills acquire Marcus Stroud (DT) for a 3rd rounder - unconfirmed (another guy we should have tried for)

Kris Jenkins (NT) to the Jets for a 3rd and 5th round pick
Josh Brown (K) to the Rams
Jason Ferguson (DT) acquired by Dolphins
Jeff Faine (C) signs with Tampa

Oh baby... we signed Walker today, and although we overpaid, its a great sign that someone in the FO has some common sense. I will treasure putting that link under the "NEW ADDITIONS" label

Wait. Where the **** did we get all of this money from?

Seriously, we've dished out WELL over 100 mil already this season. It's hilarious.

We're improving atleast. When healthy, Walker can be a beast. He'll be a fine target for JaMarcus this upcoming season.

Reggae, do you know something that I don't about Harris? Because from what I've seen, he sucks lol.

Over 5 mil a year? =/

I've heard he's pretty bad, but the things he's weak at, Cable makes passable...

I dont expect much, but I only meant that hes staying in the Bay Area, from SF to OAK...

Well, what I meant was that you seem to have "inside knowledge" at times, I was curious as to if you had a "sixth sense" about why we were overpaying a crappy player, but hey, we're the Raiders. :D

Oh.. nah, we just have some Raiders who stop by my wife's work and she's as big a Raider fan as I am.. she asks them about some pretty indepth stuff and loves telling me about it. That's as inside as I get with the Raiders :D

Also have a guy who works for them who I've known most of my life, he seems to know things earlier than the media :D

Adding on two things, and actually creating a thread about one:

The Raiders resigned Cornell Green and restructured the deal of Dominic Rhodes (!!!!).

Per Wiretap -

The Raiders have added another wide receiver, agreeing to terms Wednesday on a $2M, one-year deal with free-agent Drew Carter, as reported by the Associated Press.

The deal with Carter follows the one given last week to former Pro Bowl receiver Javon Walker as Oakland tries to surround JaMarcus Russell with more big-play options.

Carter

I'm not sure how I feel about it... Drew Carter wasn't even on my radar.

I do know this though - he is 6'3, and thats a decent sized target for a WR, and we didn't pay him very much. I'd imagine he's a redzone/3rd WR target type.

I'll add him to the list, though I was hoping for Bryant Johnson as a deep play threat. We'll learn a ton more about Carter as the season progresses - it would be nothing short of a miracle to have Javon + Curry healthy for 16 games

I expect Drew to do well with us. I'm predicting him to score 7 touchdowns for us during the upcoming season and I expect him to shock some people.

William Joseph (DT), formerly of the New York Giants, added to the list.

Not really a deal, just something a member posted on the general board:

There is a rumor going around that Asomugha is going to sign an 8 years 108 million dollar contract. It frees up space in the first year so they would be able to sign Hall to a 6 year 50+ million dollar contract.

All I have to say is that if both those signings happen they will be in cap hell in a couple of years.

lol what? 8 years/108 million? Thats ridiculously a lot of money, and I haven't heard anything like this in the news.

False, although I want Nnamdi back.

Raiders Sign DE Kalimba Edwards
28th March, 2008 - 5:57 pm
AP - The Raiders signed DE Kalimba Edwards to a two-year contract on Friday as they try to improve their pass rush for next season.

Edwards was cut earlier this month by the Lions. He will reportedly earn $5M in the deal with the Raiders, as reported by the Associated Press.

Don't know anything about the guy, but we probably overpaid for him. :D

He was a good prospect from way back... think he was a disappointment. But hopefully he'll be like Chris Clemons was for us.

John Wade, C, added to the list. Apparently a decent C.. we may have given him 10M a season :o
