Is run dmc going to the be main man this year? Can be be the new AP?
He has the pass catching ability out the backfield that will help Jamarcus and he is the most talented of the RB's for sure but I still hear that he is going to share carries and won't put up big numbers. What do you guys think?
Are the injuries the reason? Let the man take full control of the running game and let's see what he can do.

Until Fargas is gone DMAC won't get enough reps running the ball to be the next AP my guess is he'll have a great year maybe 900yds rushing and 300yds receiving Fargas needs to go Rankin can take the #3 RB spot so BUSH & DMAC can dominate

Anyone been to Raiders camp to see how things are working out for DMC so far?
Is he the #1 guy? Is he being used as a pass catcher more?

Just because you have Fargas doesn't mean you have to play Fargas if you believe McFadden is the guy. It would be nice to know people who have seen camp to see how he's expected to be used and how much.
Is he a 20 touch guy a game this year?

Re: McFadden's role this year
Coach Tom Cable said late Saturday that Darren McFadden is "pretty close" to passing Justin Fargas to be Oakland's starting tailback.
Cable was asked about fans wanting McFadden to get 20 touches a week. "I was thinking more touches than that," he answered. However, he oddly hedged that by saying, "I’ll tell you the same thing about Justin Fargas and Michael Bush. I know where we're headed." Cable says Oakland's third exhibition will provide a good idea of this backfield's in-season pecking order. Link

^Good.
McFadden deserves atleast 25 touches per game, and I'm sure he will get it this season. Dude just needs to stay healthy now.
DMac is our most explosive offensive player, so he for sure needs to be a focal point if we hope to accomplish anything this season or in the next handful of years.

Re: McFadden's role this year
Havent been around much, my bad. Here's what I've heard regarding a lot of stuff:
Cable punching out his asst coach: I'm very well in the Raiders loop usually, and this is the first I've heard of this. Even a couple of players' wives were shocked to hear this, TODAY. Its been a pretty well kept secret apparently. Lips are tightly sealed... no one is saying what's going on at all or what it was about. No word on whether or not Cable and the coach have patched it up.
McFadden WILL BE THE PRIMARY RB ALL SEASON. Fargas may start but in title only, as McFadden will get the lions share of the carries. Fargas will spell him sometimes and Bush will predictably be the short yardage back but will also get a few series here and there.
Schilenz is impressing people with his sure hands and is by far the #1 receiving option, with Miller close as #2 and then a ton of backs and wides duking it out for #3. DHB is showing the same issues as in college (hands), Higgins is small and not a good route runner, Walker is hurt and Murphy's came down with a case of the dropsies.
The Kirk Morrison saga has been overrated and his starting job isn't really in danger. He does have to produce this year or the Raiders will move him though, as they need more of a playmaker at the MLB.
Chris Johnson has been an absolute gem of a find at the 2nd CB slot and will start there. Routt looked terrible and might be out of the league in a year, even with his blazing speed. He's, by this one person's account, that bad.
Have not seen anything personally this year (hard to get up for this season) but thats all secondhand info from the field...

FireNellieQuick; I just now figured out that you are 510Reggae. It took until I saw you talking about players wives because I remember you talking about being buds with some Raiders player and his wife way back when, haha.
Nellie does suck though.
Anyways; Yeah, I'm a fan of Chris Johnson. I thought he played fabulous last year after being inserted into the starting lineup. He has good quickness and is able to stay close to his man. Him and Awesome-Wah are beyond solid.
Shil is for sure our #1 receiver and hopefully DHB emerges as the #2 WR. Miller will still tear it up though this season and I see him bettering his production from last year.
